Willis Woods gets new public path

The more than 600 acres of undeveloped wooded area known as Willis Woods now has a large new public path running through it. The Lynnfield Fire Department held an official ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of its new headquarters building on Oct. 24. In addition to the Select Board and Chief Glenn Davis, State Rep. Lynnfield’s new Fire HQ struck by car

The Lynnfield Fire Department headquarters at 1100 Summer St. was struck by a vehicle last Thursday afternoon, just days after the FD began operations in the building. Firefighters spend first night in new station

The Lynnfield Fire Department (LFD) finished moving into their new headquarters at 1100 Summer St. this Sunday. The department took official possession of the building the week of Oct. 6, but it did not immediately move all operations into the building.
