The Pioneers earned a 2-0 shutout over Boston Latin last Friday at Murphy Rink. Goalie Angelo Covino did it all to make sure Lynnfield advanced to the title game. The Lynnfield boys basketball team is off to a strong start this season despite graduating a strong senior class. The Pioneers finished 15-7 last winter and earned a Division 3 tournament victory over Wilmington before falling to eventual state champion Norwell in the Round of 16.
