“Our three captains led the way in singles with a combination of power and consistency and we also had the opportunity to see a strong performance at No. 1 doubles with Kurt and Matt. The No. 2 doubles team of Emile and Ash played very well together to get their first varsity win, so it was an exciting day,” said Lynnfield coach Joe Dunn. “We played consistently throughout the match.”
The Pioneers’ next match is Thursday on the road against Pentucket at 4 p.m.
