To the editor:
I am writing to express my full support for Brian Charville’s candidacy for the Lynnfield School Committee. The School Committee faces a daunting agenda and Brian is the right candidate to tackle those challenges head on. He’s experienced, knowledgeable, and committed.
I’ve known Brian for nearly 15 years. He is open and honest. He is a student of public policy and loves discussing strategies and outcomes. Brian attacks problems from a pragmatic approach and asks insightful questions. He is the type of person that studies issues from every angle and is thoughtful in his decisions. Brian will willingly engage with the community at large and will openly seek solutions to current and future issues facing Lynnfield Public Schools.
Brian has been an active member of the Lynnfield community in a number of positions, most notably as chair of the Planning Board. He is a parent of three LPS students, representing both the elementary and middle school levels, and he is fully invested in the future of our schools and the community as a whole.
On any board or committee, the input of an attorney can be invaluable. However, in times of transition and uncertainty, the input of an attorney is imperative. Brian’s background in law will serve this community well, particularly his prior legal experience working in Virginia as an assistant county attorney, representing county government including the public schools and School Committee. This is the type of practical experience we need to carry on the work of the Lynnfield School Committee.
As a parent of four school-aged children, I am hopeful that we will vote in those who will best serve our kids. Please join me in casting your vote for my friend, Brian Charville, for School Committee on Tuesday, April 9.
