To the editor:
I am writing in support of Kate DePrizio for School Committee. Kate has a heart for the students and educators of Lynnfield, and has served well over her last term. When letters of concern from staff at LPS schools were largely disregarded, she pushed for dialogue. When two committee members stepped away, she stepped up. She is thoughtful, dedicated, and committed to engagement with all stakeholders of Lynnfield Public Schools.
Outside of the School Committee, she has supported the learners in our community (and our family personally) in countless ways. For just our girls she has been Girl Scout leader, cheer coach, variety show co-director, fundraising spearhead, carpool coordinator, and general encourager-in-chief. She believes in our kids, in Lynnfield, in those serving in every nook and cranny of education in our town, and she has my vote.
