Cool off this summer and visit the Lynnfield Senior Center. Call the center at 781-598-1078 for more information on these and many other programs. Stop in one day and see all we offer.

Lunch and a Movie: “Nonnas.” After losing his mother, a man risks everything to honor her by opening an Italian restaurant staffed by actual nonnas — grandmothers, as the chefs. Starring Vince Vaughn, Susan Sarandon, Lorraine Bracco and Linda Cardellini. Wednesday, Aug. 13. Lunch at 11:30 a.m.; movie at 12:15 p.m. Sign up for the movie with Lisa and lunch with Cris.
Friends Thrift Boutique: Come see what goodies we have in store. The shop, run by the Friends of the Lynnfield Senior Center, is open Monday–Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. All are welcome; donations are greatly appreciated. Swing by and score one-of-a-kind gems you won’t find anywhere else.
Ask the Nurse: On the first and third Wednesday of each month, Nurse Karen Cronin of the Lynnfield Health Department visits the center from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. She offers free blood pressure screenings and assistance with prescriptions and other health-related questions. Drop in for blood sugar testing on the first Wednesday of each month.
