Lynnfield’s girls basketball team (4-2) defeated Winthrop 61-23 to capture the David Green Memorial Tournament. Behind Chloe Grieves (12 points, 12 rebounds), all-tournament player Olivia Braley (12 points), and Most Valuable Player Hayden Valiton (9 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists), Lynnfield erupted with 26 third-quarter points.
“Everyone contributed to today’s victory. We had balanced scoring with two players in double figures and had nine out of 11 players score,” said Lynnfield coach Sue Breen. “More importantly, we had 23 assists on 26 made baskets. They really shared the ball well. The team is making great progress in coming together and gaining confidence. We are looking forward to 2026.”
