The North Shore Stars Squirt 1 Elite hockey team won the Green Mountain Avalanche Tournament in Jay Peak, Vt. The boys went undefeated (5-0) in the tournament, which included a thrilling championship game against the Avalanche Elite of N.H. The Stars won the title game 3-2 after a go-ahead goal with 13 seconds remaining. Roster: Matty Coscia, David Bennett, Remo Colucciello, Oliver Hogan, Mason Macdougall, Theo Stephanides, Bennett Mazza, Peter Dearth, Braden Quinn, Michael Sanseverino, Jack Mackor, Grayson Salamone, and Will Fauteux. The team was helmed by head coach Dave Bennett as well as assistants John Hogan and Mauro Colucciello. (Kathleen Bennett)
