The Ladies of Lynnfield will host its 56th annual Catholic Charities Holiday Toy Drive on Sunday, Dec. 7th from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., at the Meeting House, 617 Main Street.
The event started in 1969 when Lynnfield’s Rita Anzuoni, Anne Caniff, Kay Cotter, Josephine Moran, and Pat Mulica founded the Ladies of Lynnfield, an organization to benefit the North Shore Catholic Charities. Originally, the group held a neighborhood get-together to help families in need give their children a holiday to remember. What began as a small neighborhood gathering quickly grew as more residents joined in the mission to ensure every child could enjoy a joyful holiday.
For over five decades, the kindness and commitment of our community has honored the women of the past and this year’s committee is excited to carry on such a meaningful tradition. If you’re interested in getting involved, there are 3 ways to participate:
- Join the Ladies of Lynnfield at the Meeting House (617 Main St.) on Sunday, Dec. 7th. Bring your gift or gift card, and enjoy holiday music, drinks & refreshments!
- Drop off your gift with Ashley between Nov. 17 – Dec. 6 at 18 Pine Street, Lynnfield
- Send a donation via Venmo to @Ashley-Crawford-16.
Collected items will be distributed to non-denominational groups and organizations throughout the North Shore in collaboration with Catholic Charities.
