The Massachusetts Association of Occupational Health Nurses (MaAOHN) is proud to announce that Dr. Mary A. Taschner, DNP, ANP-BC, of Lynnfield, has been selected as the recipient of the 2025 Dorothy Reid Lifetime Achievement Award.
This prestigious honor recognizes a nurse whose lifelong dedication, leadership, and service have made a lasting impact on the field of occupational and environmental health nursing.

“Mary inspires me. She has clear, concise communication skills delivering powerful messaging for fellow occupational health nurses that empowers them! She is an NP that has worked in pharma and also as an expert nursing professional on legal cases. Our highest award, the Dorothy Reid Lifetime Achievement Award, is an engraved silver Paul Revere bowl which will be presented to Mary this December! Congratulations!” said Donna Ferriera, president of MaAOHN.
