This year’s Veterans Day celebration was a tremendous success. I’d like to thank everyone who participated.
Thank you to Select Board Chairman Phil Crawford, State Sen. Brendan Crighton, National Guard Veteran David Gallo, Lynnfield’s American Legion Post 131 Rifle Squad, Navy Veteran Reverend Rob Bacon of Lynnfield’s St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, the High School and Middle School bands, and our first responders.
Thanks to the DPW, Brett from Brett Henry Catering, Kirk Mansfield of the Lynnfield Historical Commission, and Bob Priestly of Boston Audio Visual. Thanks to the Lynnfield Girl Scouts for reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, their hand-written “Thank You for Your Service” cards, and the beautiful singing of God Bless America, and thanks to the Boy Scouts for the presentation of the colors.
And a special thanks to my wife Candy, for her continuous support. Finally, thanks to the many veterans and residents of our great town who attended.
