Join Carla Villa for a mindful walk at Lynnfield’s Pine Hill

November 4, 2025 by For The Weekly News

The Lynnfield Open Space and Recreation Working Group is sponsoring a walk with Carla Villa, a dedicated yoga and meditation teacher and the engagement manager at the Ipswich River Watershed Association. Passionate about protecting the Ipswich River and fostering deeper connections with nature, Villa creates welcoming spaces for mindfulness in the outdoors.

Meet at Lynnfield’s Pine Hill Conservation Area. Pine Hill was once home to the Mirabeau Fresh Air Camp (1929-1961). In 1966, Lynnfield voters placed the property under the care of the Lynnfield Conservation Commission. In 2019, an Eagle Scout project established today’s loop trail, which now provides a beautiful wooded path for both visitors and the Lynnfield High School Cross-Country team.

When: Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 2 p.m. (rain date Friday, Nov. 14)
Where: Pine Hill Conservation Area, https://www.lynnfieldma.gov/DocumentCenter/View/1508/Pine-Hill-Trail-Map-PDF, park on Littledale Road off of Durham Drive.
Who: Everyone is welcome — no experience needed
