JFK What the Doctors Saw: Focused on the medical perspective of the doctors who treated JFK in the emergency room at Parkland Memorial Hospital. Highlighting inconsistencies between the injuries they observed and the later autopsy report. Thursday, Sept. 25. Sign up for the movie with Lisa and lunch with Chris. Lunch is at 11:30 a.m., and the movie is at 12:15 p.m.
Spectrum Fitness Consulting: Exercise for arthritis. Dr. Michael Stare, DPT, CSCS, FAAOMPT, CNS, will be giving a presentation on Exercise for Arthritis. Learn what really causes arthritis pain, understanding what works and what doesn’t and what your options are, etc. Dr. Stare will speak about how these challenging issues can be solved so you can have strategies that you can use right away. Ask the Nurse: On the first and third Wednesday of each month, Nurse Karen Cronin, from the Lynnfield Health Department, will visit our center from 9:30-10:30 a.m. She will offer free blood pressure screenings and will be available to offer assistance with prescriptions and other health-related questions. Blood sugar testing is on the first Wednesday of each month. Drop in.
