During September and October, the Lynnfield Public Library will be hosting a personal care item drive for Citizens Inn.
Lynnfield residents can help local families get back on their feet by donating new or unused and unopened items, including diapers, menstrual products, sunscreen, toiletries, and more.
Items can be dropped off in the bin by the circulation desk. The library will be collecting items until Oct. 17.
Citizens Inn is located in Peabody and serves Lynnfield families as well. Its mission is to break the patterns of instability that lead to homelessness and hunger for every family and individual served. They work on an individual basis to help families and individuals who are experiencing a housing crisis or food insecurity.
Citizens Inn provides meals, pantry items and helps people find housing. Call (978) 531-9775 or visit citizensinn.org to learn more about their organization and programs. To donate directly, visit citizensinn.org/give-to-citizens-inn/.
