The Town of Lynnfield is inviting community members to its public presentation Monday, Sept. 29 at 6 p.m. at the Al Merritt Center on the second floor of 600 Market Street.
According to the Town, Lynnfield experiences natural hazards that can impact residents and businesses, including severe flooding, severe winter storms and droughts. Because of this, the Town has prepared a draft Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Hazard Mitigation Plan to assess its vulnerability to natural hazards and strategies to increase resilience.
At this meeting, there will be a presentation given about the drafted hazard mitigation plan and a chance for attendees to share their thoughts regarding natural hazards and resilience actions the Town can take.
