Library announces Community Calendar

August 26, 2025 by For The Weekly News

The Lynnfield Public Library is excited to announce the Lynnfield Community Calendar! In an effort to better coordinate the amazing efforts of the many town organizations, the Lynnfield Public Library website (www.lynnfieldlibrary.org) will now host the Community Calendar to showcase as many of the wonderful events around town as possible.

During our community survey to create our strategic plan, we heard from many Lynnfield residents that you wished you could check when the Art Guild, A Healthy Lynnfield, and the Senior Center, for example, were doing events in one convenient place.

To help fill that need, you can now visit https://lynnfieldlibrary.org/lynnfield-community-calendar/ to see many groups’ events in one place. Official town meetings, such as the Select Board meetings, and sports will remain on the Town and School calendars, respectively.

This is an early launch, so the calendar may be missing certain groups or events. We apologize if anyone is missing! To have your event added, please fill out the form linked on the calendar page and we will add it as soon as we can. Events will only be added at the request of the community group or organization.

The Lynnfield Public Library staff are particularly grateful to the Friends of the Lynnfield Library and The Lynnfield Rotary for funding this initiative. For any questions or further information, please contact Library Director Abby Porter at aporter@noblenet.org or call 781-334-5411.
