On Thursday, Sept. 11, Lynnfield will conduct its annual First Responders and 9/11 Remembrance Day.
We will honor the many men and women who put their lives on the line every day to serve and protect the residents of our great town, as well as those who made the ultimate sacrifice on Sept. 11, 2001.
We must never forget or take for granted those police officers, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel whose dedication and commitment keep us safe and the tragic events of 9/11.
The ceremony will begin at 6 p.m. on the Town Common, and all are welcome to attend. It will be followed by a complimentary cookout. Please pass the word to your friends and neighbors. We look forward to seeing you.
