The Lynnfield Center Water District sent out the following message last Friday.
Be reminded that outdoor watering restrictions are at a level 4 and automated irrigation system use is not allowed and must cease immediately. We have maximized our production levels. District customers must cooperate by stopping outdoor watering with irrigation systems. This measure is necessary to maintain system pressures in people’s homes and potential fire suppression demands. As a District, together we must prioritize these items over use of irrigation systems. Demand over the past week has increased and is indicative of irrigation system use. Not cooperating may have significant impacts on people’s homes and public safety.
