It’s not too late to get in on the fun at the Sports Zone 101 Tournament Of Champions. Offered by Lynnfield Recreation, the program will be held at Lynnfield Middle School. Geared for students in grades 5-8, the full program will be held from Monday, Aug. 4 through Friday, Aug. 8 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost is $230 for residents and $240 for non-residents.
The half-day program will also be held Aug. 4-8 from 9 a.m. to noon for grades 5-8 at a cost of $190 for residents and $200 for non-residents.
Both programs offer children the opportunity to participate in a variety of games, such as street hockey, soccer, football, dodgeball, basketball, wiffle ball, and many others.
In addition to learning the fundamentals of these sports, we will have exciting discussions about current events in sports, learn the importance of maintaining a healthy active lifestyle, and reinforce in-class learning using sports cards and prizes.
Each participant will receive a daily sports prize to add to their collection as well.
