The Lynnfield Senior Center is inviting residents to cool off and connect this summer with a slate of engaging programs.
On Tuesday, July 22, the center will host a Pizza & Bingo event at noon, offering lunch and a few friendly rounds of bingo. The fun continues Wednesday, July 23, at 12:30 p.m. with Coffee, Cookies & Conversation, where attendees can enjoy refreshments and socialize with both old friends and new.
For those seeking a more calming start to the week, Meditation Class takes place every Monday at 9:30 a.m., providing techniques to reduce stress and promote mindfulness.
The center also offers a health and wellness opportunity through its Ask the Nurse program. On the first and third Wednesday of each month from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Nurse Karen Cronin from the Lynnfield Health Department is on-site to provide free blood pressure checks and help with prescriptions or other health concerns. Blood sugar testing is also available on the first Wednesday of each month.
For more information or to learn about additional offerings, call the center at 781-598-1078 or stop in for a visit.
