Cornerstone Construction sweetens up Lynnfield’s concerts on the common

July 15, 2025 by Erell Renaudeau

This year’s annual Rotary “Concerts on the Common” series started July 9 in Lynnfield, with a concert by Memorylaners.

Cornerstone Construction, a Lynnfield-based company serving the community since 1991, distributed cotton candy to locals at the first concert of the series.

This was a “fun way” to support the event, the company noted, as local kids with a sweet tooth huddled around their table.

“We are honored to give back to the town we call home,” said the company’s owners, Joseph and Melaney Fodera.

The monthlong “Concerts on the Common” continue July 16 at 6 p.m. with Funbucket, a classic, four-man rock band from Rockport.

On July 23, The WildFire Band, a New England based group, will play.

“Bring your family and friends, sit back, relax and enjoy the live music in a family friendly atmosphere,” the band said.

They encourage attendees to bring a blanket or lawn chairs. The concession stand will serve Kayem hot dogs and the Lynnfield Recreation Department will host children’s activities.

“Thanks Party People,” The WildFire Band added. “Fire it up.”
