The Rotary Club of Lynnfield is sponsoring Concerts on the Common, a free concert series that will feature the Funbuckets on July 16, followed by Wildfire on July 23, and the Soft Touch Band on July 30. On July 23, a dessert truck, Kayem hot dogs, as well as children’s activities will be featured on the common.
The concerts will be held each Wednesday at 6 p.m. The proceeds will sponsor local projects and the Lynnfield Rotary annual scholarship program.
The Julie Routhier Scholarship benefits three graduating seniors, residents of Lynnfield, who will be pursuing higher education and who show a strong commitment to community service.
The scholarship is awarded based on the Rotary’s core value of “Service over Self.” Each recipient will be granted $2000.
