Lynnfield Senior Center offers diverse activities in July

The Lynnfield Senior Center will offer a variety of activities in July, including crafts, social events, trips and movies.

The Men’s Social Club will meet Thursday, July 3, at 10:30 a.m. at the center before visiting The Boat House for lunch. Sign up with Lisa.

An Ice Cream Sundae Social will be held Thursday, July 17, at 1 p.m. Cost is $2, due at sign-up with Lisa.

A Pizza and Bingo event is scheduled for Tuesday, July 22, at noon. Cost is $3 for pizza, with bingo cards available for 25 cents each, up to four cards per game. Sign up with Lisa.

A leisure ride to Newburyport with a stop at Hodges Ice Cream will take place Monday, July 28, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sign up with Debby.

Crafts with Cris will include making trinket dishes from scallop shells Tuesday, July 15, at noon. Cost is $5. A “Christmas in July” shell ornament craft session will be held Thursday, July 31, at noon. Cost is $5. Sign up for both sessions with Cris.

Cooking with Cris will feature a no-bake Buckeye Graham Cracker dessert Thursday, July 24, at noon. Cost is $3. Sign up with Cris.

A documentary screening of A Tale of Two Sisters will be shown Wednesday, July 30, at 12:15 p.m. The film explores the intertwined lives of Jackie Kennedy Onassis and her sister, Lee. Sign up with Lisa.

Trivia with Lisa will be held Monday, July 7, at 12:30 p.m., featuring a “Guess the Movie Star From Childhood Photos” theme. Sign up with Lisa.

A “Name That Song” game will take place Monday, July 21, at 12:30 p.m. Participants will try to identify songs from 5- to 10-second clips. Sign up with Lisa.

Coffee, Cookies and Conversation will be offered Wednesday, July 23, at 12:30 p.m. Seniors can relax and connect with friends. Sign up with Lisa.

The center will also host Lunch and a Movie on select Wednesdays. On July 2, Conclave will be shown, with lunch at 11:30 a.m. and the movie at 12:15 p.m. On July 16, Wicked will be featured, with lunch at 11:30 a.m. and the movie at 12:15 p.m. Sign up for lunch with Debby and for the movie with Lisa.
