The No. 14 Lynnfield girls lacrosse team defeated No. 19 Oakmont Regional, 15-5, in the Division 4 state tournament. Sophomore midfielder Hayden Valiton couldn’t be stopped, scoring 11 goals and forcing five turnovers on defense. Senior captain Taylor Valiton added two goals and two assists, while winning 16 draws. Ava Damiani (goal, 6 assists) and Jordan Calichman (goal, 2 assists) also got on the scoresheet. In net, Olivia Sylvester made six saves to help keep the Pioneers’ season alive. Lynnfield visited No. 3 Norwell Tuesday with results too late to print. (Christina Serra)
