Lynnfield High (2019) and Seton Hall (2023) graduate Jonathan "Sunshine" Luders had quite the weekend, making his Savannah Banana Ball debut with the Texas Tailgaters in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Luders set two new records Saturday, making the first trick play in Tailgaters' history on a between-the-legs ground ball to second. Later that game, he became the first player in the history of Banana Ball to bat while balancing on a unicycle. For the record, he grounded to third. Luders and his teammates are back in action May 29-31 in Reno, Nevada against the Party Animals. (Savannah Bananas)
