Essex County Sheriff’s Department – CarFit Program
The Essex County Sheriff’s Department, in conjunction with the Senior Center, is proud to offer the CarFit Program to local residents on Saturday, May 17 on the Town Common. Trained technicians will review and help adjust side and rear view mirrors, safety belt, head restraint, etc. on your car. Call Janine at 781-598-1078 to schedule your appointment. Appointments take approximately 20 minutes per vehicle.
At Home Hearing Healthcare
Mara Olivar from At Home Hearing Healthcare will be at the Senior Center on Tuesday, May 20 at 10 a.m. to give a complimentary hearing screening, hearing aid cleaning and a video ear exam. Sign up with Lisa.
Low Vision Support Group
Join us on Tuesday May 20 at 10:30 a.m. to learn about the newest devices and applications to assist the visually impaired. Sign up with Debby.
Pizza & Bingo
Come try your luck and have some fun on May 22 at noon. We will have some pizza for lunch and play a few rounds of Bingo! The cost is $3 per person. Bingo cards are 25 cents with a limit of four cards per round. Call the center and sign up with Lisa.
Coffee, Cookies & Conversation
Come join us for some afternoon coffee and conversation while you relax and visit with friends old and new on Wednesday May 28 at 12:30 p.m. Sign up with Lisa.
Friday morning breakfast
Friends of the Lynnfield Senior Center will be hosting a breakfast on Friday morning June 6 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Eggs, sausages, hash browns, toast and coffee are on the menu. Call the center and sign up with Cris. The cost is $4 per person.
Ask the Nurse
On the first and third Wednesday of each month, Lynnfield Health Department nurse Karen Cronin will visit the Senior Center from 9:30 -10:30 a.m. Free blood pressure screenings as well as assistance with prescriptions and other health-related questions is also available. Blood sugar testing is offered on the first Wednesday of each month. Appointments are not required. Residents are invited to drop in.
