Lynnfield Recreation and the Lynnfield Planning & Conservation Department, in partnership with Massachusetts Safe Routes to School, are teaming up to bring you a fun, active, and energizing way to start the school day — our Spring Walking School Bus events.
The event will be held at the Summer Street School on Thursday, May 22, starting at 8:30 a.m. Participants shall meet at Reedy Meadow Golf Course and proceed to the school.
The Huckleberry Hill School Walking School Bus will take place on Wednesday, May 28, starting at Glen Meadow Park at 7:50 a.m.
Rec promises the Walking School Bus is a scenic, safe and social walk to school. There will be fun giveaways including stickers and bookmarks for all walkers with smiles, fresh air and great company along the way.
Students in grades K-2 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Students in grades 3-4 are welcome to walk on their own.
