Lynnfield Rec offers new youth cricket clinic

April 15, 2025 by For The Weekly News

The Northshore Cricket Club is partnering with the Lynnfield Recreation department to offer a new summer clinic for children in grades 1-8.

Whether you’re a seasoned pro, a rising star, or just picking up a bat for the first time, NCC is the ultimate destination for cricket lovers across the North Shore.

The clinic will be held at Lynnfield High from July 28-Aug. 1. Grades 1-4 and grades 5-9 will be held simultaneously from 3-5 p.m. The cost of the program is $200 per participant.

NCC’s mission is to grow the game, help players develop top-notch skills, and create a competitive, yet welcoming atmosphere where everyone—kids, adults, and families—can fall in love with cricket. NCC offers high-quality coaching that brings out the best in every player with competitive league action and exciting matches in a fun and supportive environment that champions sportsmanship and teamwork.

NCC programs are geared toward making cricket a mainstream sport in the local area.

The youth program introduces the fundamentals of cricket in a fun, engaging way. From learning to bat, bowl, and field to playing small-sided games, sessions are packed with energy, excitement, and improvement at every level.

So, whether you’re chasing cricket dreams or just want to have an awesome time with a fantastic crew, NCC is the place to be.
