Lynnfield Arts Guild hosts third annual Spring Arts Festival

April 8, 2025 by For The Weekly News

The Lynnfield Art Guild’s (LAG) Spring Arts Festival commemorating its 61st anniversary will be held Saturday, May 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Meeting House and Town Common..

In addition to a judged art show and sale of all original art in the Lynnfield Meeting House, this festival will feature dozens of crafters and artisan vendors, a giant bake sale, art items and a raffle with all proceeds to benefit the Guild, hands-on activities for all ages and, as always, the chance to observe artists at work and interact with other local organizations.

The full roster of festivities includes a free concert by the popular Swamptones Jazz and Swing Band (2 – 4 p.m.). Talented art students from Lynnfield High School will participate in the show and, with Guild volunteers, will offer free face painting. D.J. John Bohn will keep the crowd entertained and informed.

The judges’ choice for ribbon winners and cash prizes for adults and LHS student art will be announced at the show’s start. Raffle winners of original art, goods and local business gift certificates will be chosen at 3:30 p.m. LAG is grateful to all its sponsors and volunteers who will make this anniversary celebration of local art so special and hopes you will save the date to share this community-wide event.
