Growing Up During WWII
Do you remember growing up during WWII? Deacon Leo Martin will talk about life in the U.S. during this time, from food stamps and rationing to buying war bonds and holding scrap drives. Join us for this fascinating presentation.

Beginner quilting/sewing class for seniors! Join us for a fun, four-week class where you’ll learn basic sewing skills while creating a charming table runner.

Safe Drive
Tim Walsh from Senior Care Authority will give a presentation on safe driving. Drivers who can accurately assess their fitness to drive can adjust their habits to stay safe on the road. Are you wondering how to continue driving safely? Why are younger drivers safer? Drivers ages 85 and older are nine times more likely to crash than those ages 25 to 69.

Ask the Nurse
On the first and third Wednesday of each month, Nurse Karen Cronin from the Lynnfield Health Department will visit the center from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. She will offer free blood pressure screenings and assist with prescriptions and other health-related questions.
