Lynnfield's Pat D'Amico, a senior third baseman on the Bryant University baseball team, made the most of his Bulldogs' debut this past weekend. Playing in two games at Davidson College, he batted .500, going 4-for-8 to help the Bulldogs split their season-opening series. In the Bulldogs' 6-3 win on Friday, D'Amico went 2-for-4. He followed in the nightcap with another 2-hit game, driving in Bryant's only runs with a 2-run double in a 3-2 loss. D'Amico transferred to Bryant after spending three years at Seton Hall University, where he posted a career batting average of .257 with 17 doubles, six home runs, and 52 RBI. (David Silverman)
