Enemy ice was no problem for Lynnfield’s boys hockey team, which escaped Amesbury, 2-1, after Owen Considine’s two-goal performance on Saturday. He tucked the game’s first goal, then went home with the game-winning strike in the third period. Earlier in the week, however, the Pioneers fell to Gloucester, 3-2, at Talbot Rink. The Fishermen reeled in a sudden-death overtime win. CJ Anderson and Anthony Calla scored for the Pioneers, but it wasn’t enough against Gloucester’s pair of power-play goals.
