February is Love Your Library Month, and the Friends of the Lynnfield Library (FOLL) invite the community to celebrate at the Lynnfield Public Library on Monday, Feb. 10, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. The event will take place in the reading room, where attendees can enjoy mocktails (nonalcoholic mixed drinks) and treats. This is a family-friendly event open to all ages.
The gathering offers a chance to connect with fellow FOLL members and library staff while expressing appreciation for their dedication. It is also an opportunity for the Friends to extend their gratitude for the community’s support over the past year in advocating for the library’s new building and renovation project. While the renovation vote did not pass, the Friends remain thankful for those who supported the effort by displaying signs, attending town meetings, voting, and championing the library’s role in the community.
Attendees are welcome to drop in at any time between 4:30 and 7 p.m. A brief monthly meeting will follow at 7 p.m.
All are welcome to attend the meeting to learn more about how the Friends support the library. New ideas and perspectives are always encouraged. Those interested in joining can find membership information at the event or online at https://foll.org/membership/.
