Lynnfield author explores naming traditions

Lynnfield author Alma Barozzi will discuss her two books on naming conventions: What Kind of Name Is That? Naming Traditions of Asia and Beyond (2024) and What Kind of Name Is That? European Surnames: Meanings and Traditions (2022). Join her on a virtual journey through the countries featured in her books as she highlights naming patterns and shares insights from her research.

The What Kind of Name Is That? series explores multicultural naming traditions, offering a wealth of fascinating information. In today’s interconnected world, understanding naming conventions is essential to avoid cultural missteps, prevent offense, and foster positive relationships.
