Bead Bonanza

10 a.m.—3 p.m.

Children’s Room

We’ve got beads and pipe cleaners and yarn (oh my)! Come on down and use your imagination to create anything you can think of!

Stop by the Children’s Room between 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. to make your own beaded creation.

Ages 4 and up – No Registration Needed

Monday, Jan. 6

Tea Time

9:30 a.m.—1 p.m.

Main Library

Come by the library’s reading room for tea or coffee, to read the papers, and meet your neighbors.

We’ll be providing hot water and tea, cocoa, or instant coffee for self-service beverages, and the reading materials. You provide the company. Come down to the library, and make yourself at home.

Mondays, 9:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Bringing your own reusable cups is encouraged.

Tuesday, Jan. 7

Terrific Tuesdays with North Suburban Child & Family Resource Network

4 p.m.—4:45 p.m.

Children’s Room

Early childhood specialists from the North Suburban Family Resource Network lead this playgroup for children ages 18 months and older. Registration with the Family Resource Network is required. You can sign up for any of their programs including this one exclusively through their newsletter, which you can sign up here through their website.

Manga Club for Teens

6 p.m.—6:45 p.m.

Teen Area

Join us to read and talk about manga. We’ll enjoy Japanese snacks, play games, and do manga-related crafts! Teen Manga Club attendees will vote each month to decide if that month’s title should be added to the Library’s collection.

Title for January is Hi, I’m a Witch, and My Crush Wants Me to Make a Love Potion. Copies will be available at the circulation or though Comics Plus – Teen Library.

Board of Library Trustees Meeting

6:30 p.m.—8 p.m.

Mezzanine

The Board of Library Trustees will meet in the Library at 6:30 PM. The meeting is open to the public.

Wednesday, Jan. 8

Story Time

10 a.m.—10:30 a.m.

Children’s Room

Join us to sing songs and listen to stories! Recommended for children ages 5 and under.

This story time will be held in the Lynnfield Library Children’s Room.

Board Game Hangout for Teens

11 a.m.—1 p.m.

Mezzanine

Looking for something to do after an early release? Come hang out at the Library and play some board games! We’ll have a variety of games available along with snacks.
