The Lynnfield Senior Center is pleased to announce a variety of programs and services designed to enrich the lives of local seniors. From health and wellness to social activities and practical services, there is something for everyone.
Low Vision Support Group
Residents are invited to join the Low Vision Support Group on Tuesday, Jan. 14, at 10:30 a.m. Learn about the latest devices and applications designed to assist the visually impaired. Those interested can sign up with Debby at the center.
Meditation Class
Kick off your week with relaxation and focus. The center’s Meditation Class takes place every Monday at 9:30 a.m. Participants will learn stress management techniques to promote a sense of calm.
Market Basket Shopping Trips
The center offers transportation to Market Basket every Tuesday. Seniors needing a ride can call the center to schedule a trip and confirm the time.
Ask the Nurse
On the first and third Wednesday of each month, Nurse Karen Cronin from the Lynnfield Health Department will visit the center from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Cronin will provide free blood pressure screenings and answer health-related questions, including prescription assistance. This is a drop-in program, so no appointment is necessary.
