The Lynnfield Recreation Department is offering Afternoon Anarchy Basketball, a fast-paced program conducted with Sports Zone 101 for fifth through eighth graders at the Lynnfield Middle School.
The program begins Jan. 10 and runs through Feb. 7 on Fridays from 2-3 p.m. The program will feature individual or team skill competitions, mini games, and a set of tournament games each week.
Points will be accumulated throughout the program and tabulated during the final week to crown three champions. Points are not only awarded for skill, but for sportsmanship, teamwork, behavior, and coachability.
The program includes skills competition and mini games, 3-point shooting, a game obstacle course, King of the Court, Taps, Knockout and Around the World.
