Leaf yard to open on two dates for Christmas trees

December 16, 2024 by For The Weekly News

The leaf yard at the rear of Town Hall will be open for Christmas tree drop-off for Lynnfield residents with a 2024 recycling sticker on Jan. 4 and Jan. 11.

The yard will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on both days. Residents are asked to remove all decorations, including lights, tinsel, and ornaments, before dropping off their trees.

The trees will be collected and processed for mulch or compost to be reused in public spaces and local gardens.

For more information or to obtain a 2024 recycling sticker, contact the Lynnfield Public Works Department.
