The annual Tree Lighting and Whobiliation will be held on the Town Common on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 3 to 5 p.m.
The Recreation Department invites everyone to attend what promises to be a fun-filled afternoon full of games, food, and much more. Games are sponsored by the Lynnfield Mothers’ Group, Girl Scouts, and Boy Scouts. Cookies will be provided by Hixon and Bevilacqua. Roxie will be on hand for face painting and there will be a special visit from the Grinch. There will be Storytime at the Lynnfield Library and performances from the Lynnfield High School Honors Chamber Singers and the Tri-M Music Honors Society who will lead the community in a sing-along and caroling.
The tree lighting ceremony will begin at 5 p.m. followed by more family festivities. Lynnfield Rec promises this event is a great way to kick off the holiday season with friends and family and enjoy an afternoon of holiday magic.
