Animal control
A report at 8:17 a.m. from a caller at 963 Summer St. who said there was a dead raccoon in the roadway. Animal control was notified.
A report at 5:58 p.m. of suspicious activity in the area of 1 Mitchell Road at 816 Main St. The caller stated there was a help sign on the door and the caller was unable to determine if the sign was a Halloween decoration or a request for help.
Complaint
A report at 7:43 p.m. from a caller who said there was a large fire pit with flames to the trees on Beaver Avenue. The resident was to extinguish the fire.
Unwanted party
A report at 9:08 p.m. of an unwanted party on Fairview Avenue. A report was taken.
Wednesday, Oct. 30
Officer wanted
A request for an officer at 8:10 a.m. at the OLA School, 40 Grove St. A report was taken.
Animal control
A report at 8:13 a.m. of a hit raccoon at 468 Summer St. at 1 Lakeview Ave. Animal control was notified.
Fire
A report at 9:47 p.m. from a Bancroft St. caller who said it appears a neighbor is burning leaves or may be blowing out the sprinkler system.
Tuesday, Oct. 29
Arrest
A report of a juvenile arrest of an under-17 male on an out-of–town warrant at 375 N Broadway.
Officer wanted
A report at 12:58 a.m. from a caller at 55 Salem St. who said a wallet, photos and bingo money were stolen.
Suspicious persons
A report at 10:57 a.m. from a Sparhawk Road resident who said she came home and there was a male in her driveway who walked toward her aggressively. She left the area.
Police located the male all was in order as a resident was giving him a ride to Everett.
A report at 11:54 a.m. from a caller at 16 Edward Ave who said a male operating a white Infinity had parked the vehicle in front of his house and was looking around the caller’s property. The male said he was looking for his Iphone. Police could not locate.
Traffic/motor vehicle
A report at 1:20 p.m. of debris in the high-speed lane on I-95 NB at exit 60. Police notified Mass Highway.
Monday, Oct. 28
Medical aid
A request for medical aid at 8:27 a.m. at a Locksley Road resident. The caller said a woman had a laceration on the back of her head. The patient was transported to Lahey in Burlington.
Larceny
A report at 11:21 a.m. of a larceny at 353N Broadway. A report was taken.
Fraud
A report at 5:57 p.m. of a fraud at 29 Rockwood Road. A report was taken.
Sunday, Oct. 27
Suspicious activity
A report at 6:40 p.m. from a caller at 34 Alexandra Road who said there was suspicious activity at a vacant house at the end of the road. She stated this has happened in the past and police were unable to locate anyone. Police found the owners of the property will filling holes in the yard.
Disturbance
A report at 9:53 a.m. from a caller at 2 South Broadway who said two people have been arguing on and off since 6 a.m. No service was necessary.
Saturday, Oct. 26
Accident
A report at 2:17 a.m. from a caller at 707 Walnut St. who said she witnessed a one-car accident. She stated the drive rwas not injured but for a bloody nose. The vehicle was towed.
Medical aid
A request for medical aid at 6:32 a.m. on West Huckleberry Road. The patient was removed to a hospital.
Complaint
A report at 11:09 a.m. of a gas can in the roadway at 199 Salem St. at 511 Walnut St. obstructing traffic.
Fire
A report at 5:13 p.m. from a caller who said a Salem Street resident has a fire pit despite a red flag warning being in effect. The homeowner was to extinguish the fire.
Officer wanted
A request for an officer at 4:05 p.m. at a Bishops Lane residence. A report was taken.
A report at 6:18 p.m. of a person refusing to leave Panera Bread at 430 Market St.
Disturbances
A report at 10:12 p.m. of a loud party on Lowell Street. Police observed it was a small gathering with no loutd music or other issues.
A report at 11:24 p.m. of a large party on Birch Road at Shady Nook Lane. The party was ending for the night.
Friday, Oct. 25
Suspicious auto
A report at 8:04 a.m. of a suspicious motor vehicle in a parking lot on Summer Street at Main Street. The person or vehicle checked out OK.
Fraud
A report at 1:30 p.m. of a fraud at 5 Hart Road. A report was taken.
Officer wanted
A request at 3:15 p.m. for assistance for an elderly woman walking down the street on Pillings Pond Road who appeared to be distraught. Police located the woman and said they would stay with her until her son arrived.
