LAG announces annual Fall Art Show and Sale

October 29, 2024 by For The Weekly News

LAG is delighted to announce that its annual Fall Art Show and Sale will take place on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Meeting House on the Town Common, 617 Main St. Entrance to the show is free.

The Fall Show offers a fantastic opportunity to purchase original fine art in a variety of price ranges, making it perfect for gift-giving. Attendees can browse mini-paintings, framed paintings, photographs, and prints created by local artists. Artwork will be available in various media, including acrylic, oil, watercolor, colored pencil, pastel, mixed media, and photography. In addition to hundreds of original framed works, original “Tiny Art” and “Bin” (unframed original art) will be for sale at reasonable prices starting at $15.

Centre Congregational Church Holiday Fair

Start your holiday shopping early at the Holiday Fair, also on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., hosted by Centre Congregational Church, 5 Summer St., Lynnfield, MA. Local artisans will showcase a wonderful variety of gift ideas, including unique jewelry, pottery, pet treats, original art, quilted bags, wreaths, candles, handmade greeting cards, personalized towels, gift baskets, ornaments, quilts, crocheted hats and blankets, placemats, pillows, aprons, fiber art, soaps, knitted goods, and more. Be sure to visit the Centre Church bake table for sweet treats. You can also participate in the Festival of Trees raffle to win gifts and decorations on themed Christmas trees. For more information, call the church at 781-334-3050.

This year’s Fall Show will feature a silent auction of two signed, framed works by well-known American artists Bruce Bleach and Scott Hile. Additionally, a new bin of unframed art will contain many limited editions available for purchase.

A bake sale of individually wrapped goods and a fabulous raffle will provide chances to win great prizes donated by LAG members. Prizes include a raffle-ticket tree, themed baskets full of goodies, original framed art, and gift certificates to local businesses and restaurants. The show will be part of the fall festivities in the town center, including the annual Centre Congregational Church Holiday Craft Fair.

Please join LAG for this exciting annual event featuring original paintings, drawings, photography, and more by our diverse and vibrant community of local artists. Enjoy LAG’s famous bake sale, raffles, and silent auction. All artworks will be for sale.
