The Lynnfield School Committee recently launched its unified Facebook page, titled Lynnfield School Committee.
The description on the Facebook page states it will be updated by the committee chair and vice chair, who are currently Kristen Elworthy and Jenny Sheehan, respectively.
Before this, each school committee member had their own official school committee Facebook page.
At the committee’s Sept. 11 meeting, School Committee member Kate DePrizio, who was chair at the time, said it was the committee’s attorney, Colby Brunt, recommendation to consolidate to one Facebook page for the committee.
“We can put information in one spot that is the trusted resource,” DePrizio said.
