Join the Friends of the Lynnfield Library (FOLL) for the Fall Book Sale on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Meeting House. A members-only presale will be held on Friday, Oct. 18, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Not a member but don’t want to miss the presale? No worries—you can sign up at the door! Only books in excellent condition will be sold, with thousands to choose from. This is a great opportunity to add to your home library or book collection at prices you won’t find on Amazon. Books are just $1 to $3. Cash, Venmo, checks, and PayPal are accepted.
The Friends’ book sale is their biggest fundraiser, providing significant support for the library and the community. Have you ever used a library museum pass? These discounted passes are made possible by the Friends of the Lynnfield Library. Two-thirds of all library programming is funded by the Friends, including the popular weekly virtual yoga class, Bill Sano lectures, adult workshops, kid and teen activities, and the summer reading program, including its kickoff and end-of-challenge prizes.
The Friends will be joined by the Lynnfield Historical Society, which will provide free refreshments and a bake sale. Scouts will also be present to assist.
