The YMCA of Metro North is proud to announce that its annual Where in the World celebration, held on Thursday, Sept. 26, at the Torigian Family YMCA in Peabody, was a tremendous success. The evening saw an outpouring of generosity from the community, raising funds for the YMCA of Metro North financial assistance programs, which helps make YMCA programs accessible to children and families across the region.
The sold-out event included entertainment, and live and silent auctions. The highlight of the night was the Grand Raffle Prize exclusive adventure in Greece. The YMCA of Metro North raised $280,000 at the event.
“This event has truly highlighted the incredible generosity and commitment of our community,” President and CEO of the YMCA of Metro North Kathleen Walsh said, “We have seen firsthand how much families rely on our programs for childcare, education, and healthy activities.
