Twenty-eight Lynnfield residents earned academic honors from their respective colleges across the country during the Spring 2024 semester.
Students of Assumption University, a private Roman Catholic university in Worcester, earn a spot on the Dean’s List if they receive a grade point average of at least 3.5 for a five-class, 15-credit semester. Julia Carbone earned a spot on Assumption’s Dean’s List.
Bryant University, a private university in Smithfield, Rhode Island, awards students Dean’s List honors if they finish the semester GPA of 3.4 or better for at least 12 semester hours of work. Jack Dell Isola, Francesca Minichiello, and Cassidy Shone were awarded Dean’s List honors.
Emmanuel College, a private Roman Catholic college in Boston, awards students Dean’s List honors if they receive a GPA of at least 3.5 for a 16-credit semester. Kailee Shieh and Liem Thach were two of 800 Emmanuel students to receive the honor.
Students of Hofstra University, a private university in Hempstead, New York, earn a spot on the Dean’s List if they receive a GPA of at least 3.5. Benjamin Ferrante earned a spot on Hofstra’s Dean’s List.
James Madison University, a public research university in Harrisonburg, Virginia, awards Dean’s List honors to students who receive a GPA between 3.5 and 3.899 and take at least 12 graded credit hours for the semester. Devin Bolger, Kiera Burns, and Julia Van Sicklin were awarded this honor.
Plymouth State University, a public university in Plymouth, New Hampshire, awards students President’s List honors to students who achieve a GPA of 3.70 or better for the semester and complete at least 12 credit hours during the semester, at least nine of which must confer grade points. Angelo DeLuca, Jenna Freni, and Evan Kramich received President’s List honors for the Spring 2024 semester.
Students of Regis College, a private Roman Catholic university run by the Sisters of St. Joseph, in Weston, earns a spot on the Dean’s List if they receive a GPA of 3.5 or higher, or 3.25 or higher for first-year students. Allison Dillon and Isabella George received Dean’s List honors.
Salve Regina University, a private coeducational Roman Catholic university in Newport, RI, awards students Dean’s List honors if they receive a GPA of 3.6 for full-time students completing at least 12 graded credits, or a semester grade point average of 3.8 for part-time students completing at least six credits. Grace Magno earned this honor.
Southern New Hampshire University, a private university in Manchester, NH, awards students President’s List honors for receiving a GPA of at least 3.7. Harold Jeffers and Christopher Metrano earned this prestigious honor.
Stonehill College, a private Catholic college in Easton, awards students Dean’s List honors for receiving a GPA of at least 3.5 for the semester. Jason Passatempo and Catherine Sweeney earned this honor.
Students at the University of Rhode Island, a public land-grant research university in Kingston, RI, awards student’s Dean’s List honors for receiving a GPA of at least 3.3. John Benoin, Harrison Grasso, and Alexis Zavras earned spots on URI’s Dean’s List.
The University of Alabama, public research university in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, awards students President’s List honors for receiving an academic record of 4.0 and Dean’s List honors for receiving academic honors of 3.5 or above. Haley Corkhum was named to the President’s List honor and Kerry Donovan was named to the Dean’s List.
Worcester Polytechnic Institute, a private research university in Worcester, awards students Dean’s List honors by the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and projects, rather than receiving a specific GPA. Lauren Braconnier, Kevin Connolly, and Michelle Miller were named to WPI’s Spring 2024 Dean’s List.
