Soccer Shots, an eight-week program on Saturday mornings from June 29-Aug. 17, is back again for the summer season.
Soccer Shots Mini (ages 2-3) will be held from 9-9:30 a.m. It is a high-energy program, introducing children to fundamental soccer principles such as using your feet, dribbling, and the basic rules of the game. Through fun games, songs and positive reinforcement, children will begin to experience the joy of playing soccer and being active.
Soccer Shots Hybrid Classic (ages 3-4) will be held from 9:40-10:20 a.m. This program utilizes creative and imaginative games to focus on basic soccer skills like dribbling, passing and shooting. The program also highlights a positive character trait each session such as respect, teamwork and appreciation. Hybrid Classic uses a progression for the scrimmages at the end of each session.
Soccer Shots Classic (ages 4-5) will be held from 10:30-11:15 a.m. The program utilizes creative and imaginative games to focus on basic soccer skills like dribbling, passing and shooting. Instructors also highlight a positive character trait each session such as respect, teamwork and appreciation. At the end of each session, there will be a scrimmage with one soccer ball.
