Lynnfield Art Guild Announces Ribbon Winner from May 4th Arts Festival

The Lynnfield Arts Festival 2024 was a wonderful day filled with art, music, creativity, home baked delights and community sharing. Thanks to our many volunteers and supporters, hundreds of visitors enjoyed a fine art show and sale, a tiny and donated art gallery, bake sale, art vendors, local organization tables, face painting done by Lynnfield High School students, raffles, a silent auction, and performances by the Swamptones and POMtastics.

 It is the Lynnfield Art Guild’s pleasure to announce the Judges’ choices for ribbons and awards: For Oil/Acrylic First Prize Jim Ryan Forgotten, Second Prize Laura Newman Flower and Sun, Third Prize Jim Ryan Working Harbor and Honorable Mentions Jeannette Corbett Summer’s Eve Stroll and Maya Jacob Sheetal. For Watercolor/Pastel First Prize William Deveney White House, Second Prize Anne Lunney Meditation, Third Prize Anne Bowen Say Cheese Please, and Honorable Mentions Shaila Desai Boatride on the Ganges and William Deveney The Dunes. In the Mixed Media Category First Prize Beverly Cook Quoddy Head Light, Second Prize On-Kyeong Seong Stillness of the Air, Third Prize Ana Ortins Lady in Red, and Honorable Mention Ana Ortins Dining on the Douro. In Photography First Prize Catherine Grassello Perched for Perfection, Second Prize Elise MacDonald Take Off, Third Prize Greg Pronevitz Droplets and Honorable Mention Catherine Grassello Pink House, Half Moon.

Lynnfield High School students won the following prizes for Student Art: First Prize Junior Rayna Downey, Refuge, Second Prize Sophomore Jerusha Robins Fading Memories, Third Prize Junior Roseann Beatrice Isa, and Honorable Mention sophomore Angela Wang My Colorful Birthday.

The Savings Bank Artist Awards were given to Frank Tomasello The Gate/Rockport (First Place Adults) and Jeannette Corbett Summer’s Eve Stroll (Second Place Adults). The Savings Bank student awards were given to Jerusha Robins Fading Memories (Student First) and Rayna Downey Refuge (Student Second).
