Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School partners with Nardone Electric Corporation

April 12, 2024 by For The Weekly News

DANVERS — Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School (ENSATS) is proud to announce its collaboration with Nardone Electric Corporation, a family-owned electrical contracting firm serving Massachusetts and parts of New England.

Nardone Electric has generously donated several hours of consulting services for the building of Catherine Larkin Memorial Cottage that will serve as an agricultural museum and function facility.

As part of its commitment to the project, Nardone Electric conducted a comprehensive review of electrical plans and provided invaluable insights to ensure the seamless integration of modern electrical systems within the renovated space.

This contribution aligns with ENSATS’s ongoing efforts to enhance its facilities and create a conducive environment for learning and innovation.

In addition to its consulting services, Nardone Electric Corporation donated more than 2,000 feet of fire alarm cable to ENSATS. The donated materials will significantly contribute to the advancement of the electrical and fire alarm systems.

A highlight of this collaboration was a student workday event organized by Nardone Electric, where ENSATS electrical program students received the opportunity to receive hands-on training from industry professionals. The event enhanced the practical skills of students and provided them with real-world insights into the installation processes of electrical and fire alarm systems.

Essex North Shore Superintendent Dr. Heidi Riccio expressed gratitude for the strong community partnership with Nardone Electric Corporation.

“We are incredibly fortunate to have the support of our trade organizations like Nardone Electric. Their generous donation of time, expertise, and materials is a testament to their commitment to the future building trades workforce. This partnership allows us to provide our students with authentic learning experiences that will prepare them for success in their future careers,” Riccio said.

Steven Nardone, president of Nardone Electric Corporation, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership.

“Supporting educational institutions like ENSATS is at the heart of our values. We believe in investing in the next generation of electricians and providing them with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in their field. It’s an honor to be a part of ENSATS’s commitment to academic excellence and professional development,” Nardone said.

This collaboration between ENSATS and Nardone Electric Corporation exemplifies the power of community engagement and industry partnerships in fostering educational excellence and preparing students for success in their chosen fields.
